All-New Renault Boreal Official Egypt Launch Set for Late October
Egyptian International Motors is preparing to officially introduce the all-new Turkish-built Renault Boreal compact crossover in Egypt, bridging the gap between Duster and Austral.

Preparations for the Renault Boreal Egyptian Debut
Egyptian International Motors, the official importer for the French marque, announced plans to present the all-new Renault Boreal on October 28. This move broadens the brand's crossover portfolio in Egypt, targeting buyers looking for modern styling and functional urban utility in the popular compact crossover segment.
Market Positioning and Powertrain Specifications
Produced in Turkey using the Renault Duster platform, the Boreal sits strategically between the Duster and the Austral. Under the hood, global variants feature a 1.3-liter turbo four-cylinder motor producing 150 hp and 250 Nm of peak torque. Paired with a front-wheel-drive system and a 6-speed wet dual-clutch gearbox, it reaches 100 km/h from rest in 9.8 seconds while maintaining an average fuel consumption rating of 6.6 liters per 100 kilometers.
Buyer Perspective in the Egyptian Market
Positioning the vehicle between two established offerings gives local consumers a compelling middle ground. Buyers seeking contemporary design beyond the utilitarian appeal of the Duster, yet cautious of the higher pricing tier occupied by the Austral, will likely monitor the official trims and pricing announced at the end of October.
