The Egyptian market is set to welcome a new luxury six-seater SUV as local distributor GB Auto prepares an official debut on October 25, 2026, hosted at the Grand Egyptian Museum. This introduction broadens the marque's presence in the country, targeting larger families seeking three rows of seating alongside progressive alternative-energy drivetrains.
Range-Extended Powertrain and Battery Specs
Engineered on the EPA1 architecture, the vehicle utilizes a range-extended electric setup incorporating a 40.18 kWh battery and a 50-liter fuel reservoir. The 1.5-liter turbocharged combustion engine functions exclusively as an onboard generator to feed the electric motors, an advantageous configuration for Egyptian drivers covering long intercity highway distances without relying solely on regional charging infrastructure.
Performance Variants and Driving Range
The vehicle will offer two drivetrain configurations. The performance-focused all-wheel-drive edition delivers 485 horsepower and 637 Nm of torque, while the rear-wheel-drive specification generates 245 horsepower and 375 Nm of torque. Official figures indicate an overall combined driving range of up to 1,210 km on a full battery charge and full fuel tank in rear-drive form, ensuring practical touring capabilities.
